Conveniently the Telegraph featured some cocktail recipes last weekend which we decide to test out. This time though with a twist (not of lemon) but FREE of alcohol.
On time too came the summer sunshine and a few balmy evenings perfect for a sundowner or two, but particularly we wanted to see if we felt we were missing out and having a “lesser” drink.
Result! We really enjoyed them and we loved feeling great the next day and beyond…particularly as it been so hot.
One of our favourites is here below. (We will feature more recipes soon)
- 15ml grenadine syrup
- 15ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 200ml chilled ginger ale
- Maraschino cocktail cherry and thin lime slice, to decorate
- Ice cubes
Place a few ice cubes in a tumbler, add the grenadine and lime juice then top up with ginger ale, and garnish with the cocktail cherry and lime slice.
